  1. This version of emacs is still built with SAS C.  It also requires
  2. David Gay's unix emulation library, which is in unix.lha (archived
  3. form) and unix/ (unarchived form).

  5. I used SAS C 6.03 to successfully rebuild an executable, by doing:

  7.     copy emacs-18.59-amiga junk all clone
  8.     copy build junk all clone
  9.     cd junk/etc
  10.     smake
  11.     cd /cpp
  12.     smake
  13.     cd /src
  14.     smake
  15.  
  16. The files in amiga-extra are various things I received in the emacs
  17. distribution from David Gay, but didn't have any time to examine
  18. very closely, so they are stuck there in limbo for the time being.
